Hello Friends,
How are you all? The last few months have been a bustle of activity, of generous moments with family and friends and of heralding in some change; I feel I’m only just catching my breath.
On the home front we (mainly I!) have harvested and preserved a respectable amount of fruit and veg. Last year I found a way of bottling fruit and I used this technique again as well as drying apples and making some pear leather (new skill). Having given our home hatched chick to some friends as we thought she was a cockerel, she then surprised them with an egg, so we’ve reintroduced her to our brood! I’ve managed to keep the bees over the summer, checking them weekly; I now need to (somewhat belatedly) get them ready for winter.
Both boys joined us for a lovely, but all too short, camping holiday in North Wales and HWH, the girls and myself spent our usual four days at Creation Fest. Second son (Rhythm Dude) was home for a couple of months working, and I sequestered as much time as I could with him, making the most of conversations while we cooked and valuing precious time chatting in tea shops.
This new term has seen change for each of our three eldest, with Dancing Toes entering college and full time education for the first time. I now have only one home educated child, so feel that life really should be calmer than it is!

In amongst all this, Issachar Eyes has been readied for print and launched. It’s been a huge undertaking, much greater than I had anticipated. God has certainly stretched me, pushed me well out of my comfort zone and proved utterly faithful. I’ve been part of an amazing team and I’ve expanded my own learning as I’ve worked with our graphic designer and proof reader, who were both excellent and experienced, as well as being more closely involved in the launch campaign and marketing.
Sales are good, and I was both relieved and encouraged by our first review. This book, more than either of the others, holds messages which I believe are of crucial importance for us to consider at this time. I am so grateful for each of the contributors who all wrote with wisdom, courage and conviction. I wholeheartedly commend it to you.
For those of you in the southern hemisphere may you be enjoying the sunshine, and for those of us in the northern hemisphere, may we enjoy the bronzed and orange colours of autumn, shuffle through fallen leaves, feel the coziness of winter woolies and ensure we make time to immerse ourselves in quiet moments accompanied by tea, a good book and candle light.
With love and blessings on your and yours,
Molly x
