The Kite’s Tale – A Story of Adoption

The Kite’s Tale is intended to be a resource for any family. Whether you are an adoptive or foster family, whether you have friends or relatives who are walking this path, or whether you have a healthy curiosity and would simply like to know a bit more about adoption, this is a book for you!

Written on the suggestion of one of our social workers, my hope and prayer is that it would be a mirror in which adoptive families can see themselves, and a window through which everyone else can catch a glimpse of the issues surrounding our lives. To find out more about the story behind it, here’s a post I wrote earlier. The blurb is below.

The Kite’s Tale follows the story of Archie, who longs for a brother or sister, and Posy, who needs a forever home. It is a simple tale of adoption with a thread of hope running throughout.

You can buy it from any bookstore or on Amazon as paper copy or kindle. As we all know, books are a fantastic way of walking in someone else’s shoes for a short while and thus gaining understanding and empathy. So, if you’d be able to order it into your library, I’d so appreciate it, as other families could also read it. Thank you x
