June has been a month of days out and holidays; spending time with family, visiting dear friends, feasting our eyes on beautiful scenery, breathing in our fill of sea, lakes and mountains and of course the anticipation and preparation for these times away. One of the great benefits of home education is that we can take our summer holidays during school term time when it is quieter and the weather is often better. For many years we’ve had our family holiday in June or early July.
This month’s blog post is a brief snap shot from our family holiday album; precious memories which I will savour and which build up layer upon layer, year upon year as a part of our family story, weaving together our traditions and our sense of place and belonging.
I hope whatever kind of month you have had, you have found moments of calm, enjoyed God’s good creation and known you are loved beyond measure.
